Por
Johnny Torres Rivera
New York, New York, USA.

This
result is from Martin'z record in the 1929 Puerto Rican record
book. It is known that Martin and Day were scheduled to fight an
8-rounder in New Haven on this date. It is to be hoped that
someone will search the Hartford Courant and perhaps the New
Haven Journal-Courier and the Bridgeport Post for Connecticut
results from the last three months of 1927, which would make the
1927 Connecticut results much more complete.
